Legend tells us that in Old England all boots were almost exclusively black. Since none of the walking surfaces were paved, these boots were punished with water, dirt and other unsavory elements. A man’s boots were very dificult to care for. Agentleman wished to put forth his best appearance. He would have his boots cleaned and polished. They were given a coat of polish, pitch, whatever was black and could be coated on the boots to make them look better. The person applying these materials became known as Boot Blacks.

Proper shoe care is important to be satisfaction of the wearing of your shoes and the longevity of the leathers. Any polish can make your shoes look decent but your shoes require more. They require an extremely high quality product that keeps the leather conditioned, supple and beautiful.
